Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, PRP, aids in hair restoration and thicker hair growth. This non-invasive, no down time, non surgical and safe procedure is done in the office during a 45 minute appointment and requires a series of treatments spaced every 6-8 weeks apart. Candidates for PRP scalp injections will be given a treatment plan and estimate for number of treatments recommended. Number of treatments vary from patient to patient and results can vary, however, we are pleased to be a part of such amazing results for our patients.

During your appointment, a small amount of blood is drawn by one of our medical providers and placed into a centrifuge to separate the plasma from other components of your blood. That plasma is then injected into the scalp to stimulate dormant hair follicles resulting in hair growth. This heavily researched and proven treatment has helped patients not only restore their hair, but their confidence. Our protocol for PRP Hair Restoration varies from patient to patient, however, our office recommends using a dermal roller at home between treatments to continue stimulating the blood flow and growth.

Micro-Needling can often times be combined with this treatment in order to more effectively drive PRP into the scalp. PRP Therapy is also used for skin rejuvenation during micro-needling treatments, post surgery and more to promote collagen production and healing and recovery.
